Features Directory
The Billing and Financial tab allows an operator to input or modify a customer’s financial information. In this section there is the option to check or uncheck two boxes, the first ON HOLD and the second COD. When either box is check the words turn red, and the “On Hold” or “COD” status appears in other areas of Job Master where this billing information is required, such as in quotes and sales. Job Master also allows for the contact information for the people controlling the finances within the customer’s company to be inputted, the terms of the customer, their credit limit, if any, their resale number, and other relevant information. If a sales order is placed, which exceeds the credit limit for the customer, Job Master will automatically flag the salesperson informing them that the credit limit has been exceeded. At the bottom of this area there are two places to input individualized notes and other data, such as the Sales Rep ID number if there is a sales rep involved for this customer, and the customer’s orders are commissionable.
In the OTHER CONTACTS area, Job Master allows for the entry of multiple contacts for each individual customer. The type of contact, can be technical, shipping, financial or whomever the operator deems an important contact in the customer’s company. This feature allows for the full range of information for each individual contact within a customer record to be added, and there are no limits as to the number of additional contacts that can be entered for each customer in Job Master.
Under the Shipping Locations tab, operators can enter multiple shipping locations for each customer. All of the data can be entered here, such as the means or the shipper which is to be used, the account number of the shipper, multiple options for shipping: Shipvia1, Shipvia2, or Shipvia3, and indication whether the account is taxable or not taxable. Another feature of this area is that when an operator selects a location from the right, the detail information for that location appears on the left and can then be entered or edited.
